Last March, Nick Hannes started photographing his wife and daughters at home. For his book, Nick collected 49 photos from this period. Connecting some of the photos with his personal notes, mixing uncertainties with joix de vivre, ‘An Unexpected Lesson in Joy’ could be seen as his photographic diary.
